SOAP/Weblogic 2-way Authentication.

Hi,
I need to implement 2-way authentication in the SOAP/Weblogic arena
using an applet as the client side of this demo. How do I implement 2-way
authentication when an applet cannot access and send the Client Certificate
while running on the browser. If any one has tried/dealt with such a senario
....... sharing it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Venkat

You don't need to program the applet to pass the browser certificate. You
can achieve the same by configuring the weblogic properties SSL to accept a
Client Certificates issued by a particular CA again configured in
weblogic.properties.

To make this work you need a root CA certificate on the server and the
client certificate issued by the CA stored in browser certificate. Then you
need to configure SSL properties in weblogic.properties file to point to
those certificates...
