   > Python 2.7 is supported by Red Hat through June 2024. Although we definitely don't need to support Python 2.7 just for this script to exist in the repo, there would be a much stronger case for this Python script to replace the Perl one if it could be run using both Python 2.7 and 3.6.
   
   But ATC as a project doesn't support Python2.7 as of 4.0.0
