[jira] [Commented] (THRIFT-2364) OCaml: Use Oasis exclusively for build process

James E. King, III commented on THRIFT-2364:
--------------------------------------------

[~seliopou] I have been able to add ocaml to the ubuntu and debian dockerfiles, and your patch allows lib/ocaml to build. I would like to ask for your help to complete the process by integrating the ocaml language into "make cross" testing and the standard autoconf build (and cmake build if you can manage). Any chance you can assist with this?

> The OCaml library currently contains custom makefiles, as well as an _oasis configuration file that will generate a configuration script and Makefile. The preferred method of the community for building OCaml libraries is to use Oasis, so the other files should be dropped in favor of that.
