[jira] [Created] (HDDS-552) Partial Block Commits should happen via
Ratis while closing the container in case of no failures
Shashikant Banerjee created HDDS-552:
----------------------------------------
Summary: Partial Block Commits should happen via Ratis while closing the container in case of no failures
Key: HDDS-552
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDDS-552
Project: Hadoop Distributed Data Store
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: Shashikant Banerjee
Assignee: Shashikant Banerjee
Fix For: 0.3.0
Containers need to be closed when the space gets full or in case the pipeline is not healthy. In case of no pipeline failure, the partial block commits need to happen via Ratis. Currently this is handled per datanode by openContainerBlockMap.
