[jira] [Commented] (AIRFLOW-4883) Scheduler does not kill hung dag file process managers

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRFLOW-4883?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16898027#comment-16898027 ]

ASF GitHub Bot commented on AIRFLOW-4883:

ashb commented on pull request #5706: [AIRFLOW-4883] Bug-fix to killing hung file processes
URL: https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/5706

PRs #5615 and #5605 and fought a bit over this change, and this is
hard (but not impossible) to test so we didn't notice.

I have tested this change works locally and we know(again) successfully kill timed out processors.

> The scheduler does not restart hung dag file process managers. While there is a timeout in the process created to parse a file, there is none on the process itself. We have seen hangs in this process. We need to kill processes that hang.
