If we are changing application catalog, we should consider following changes,

1. Optional or mandatory inputs/outputs.
2. Input with arguments like -F file1 -O output.
3. Output name part of the argument of command-line. 
3. Implicit and explicit inputs. Implicit means when the input is part of command-line argument and explicit is when a input need to be in the working directory or any other user defined directory.
4. Output names or locations. 
5. Data transfer required or not. 
6. Archive output data.
