master and 1.8.x open for business

master has been updated to 2.0.0-SNAPSHOT, and 1.8.x should be on  
1.8.1-SNAPSHOT.

Updating master was a little less clean than it could have been (sorry  
about that), but there should be no 1.8.0-SNAPSHOT references  
remaining there. Please keep an eye out for them, though.

Thanks to everyone for your patience! 1.8.0 going to dist and  
hopefully to Central soon after...
