[jira] [Created] (PHOENIX-6868) Inheritable table level properties from parent table to indexes
Ujjawal Kumar created PHOENIX-6868:
--------------------------------------
Summary: Inheritable table level properties from parent table to indexes
Key: PHOENIX-6868
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-6868
Project: Phoenix
Issue Type: Improvement
Reporter: Ujjawal Kumar
PHOENIX-3955 does this for KEEP_DELETED_CELLS, REPLICATION_SCOPE, and TTL so that both parent table and it's indexes have these properties in sync. There should be a way so that a custom table level property declared (internally a METADATA in TableDescriptor of the physical table) is always inherited by the indexes. This of course should be controllable by a config so that the properties to inherit can be customized
