[jira] Commented: (AXIS2C-1007) HTTP HEAD request recieves 200 OK response when it should be failed

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXIS2C-1007?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12572584#action_12572584 ]

Senaka Fernando commented on AXIS2C-1007:
-----------------------------------------

This is the scenario where we can't locate the service, op and then return that HTML page for GET, HEAD and DELETE. I think we should rather return a 404 Not found error. In terms of PUT and POST, we do get an exception object with a 500 server error. I guess it is rather a client error. Therefore the returned status must be changed from 500 to 404 there too. Will do that after 1.3.0 release

Senaka

from inside my service

Hi Dave,

At the moment you can get a SAML token from the rampart_context (But
ideally this should be through the processed resluts). Here I have
included how to get the rampart context as well.

    axis2_msg_ctx_t *in_msg_ctx = NULL;
    axis2_op_ctx_t *op_ctx = NULL;
	axutil_property_t *property = NULL;
    rampart_context_t *context = NULL;
    op_ctx = axis2_msg_ctx_get_op_ctx(msg_ctx, env);
    in_msg_ctx = axis2_op_ctx_get_msg_ctx(op_ctx, env,
AXIS2_WSDL_MESSAGE_LABEL_IN);

    property = axis2_msg_ctx_get_property(in_msg_ctx, env,
RAMPART_CONTEXT);
    if(property)
    {
        context = (rampart_context_t
*)axutil_property_get_value(property, env);
    }
rampart_saml_token_t *token = rampart_context_get_saml_token(context,
env, RP_PROPERTY_UNKNOWN);
axiom_node_t *assertion = rampart_saml_token_get_assertion(token, env);

Supun..

Indeed you can search for the username in the hashtable. But if the
requirement is to get just one such property, you may use following method.

username = (axis2_char_t*)rampart_get_security_processed_result(env, msg_ctx, RAMPART_SPR_UT_USERNAME);
Here you give the key and get the value from the message context.
Other similar keys for such properties are defined in the rampart_constants.h with prefix RAMPART_SPR_*

RE: [AXIS2C and Rampart/C] Question about how to get the userid and password when my service is invoked

Posted by Dave Meier <DM...@SERENA.com>.
I figured out how to use rampart_get_all_security_processed_results to
get the hashtable and also am able to insert my own things into that
hashtable from within my callback auth dll, so I don't need help on this
anymore.

Thanks,

-Dave.

Subject: [AXIS2C and Rampart/C] Question about how to get the userid and
password when my service is invoked

Hi All,

I have Rampart/C all hooked up and my callback authentication dll is
working perfectly. My question has to do with getting the userid and
password once my service is invoked. Where do I get these from? I
don't want to store them when my authentication callback validates as
that wouldn't handle multiple simultaneous requests. When my service
invoke method is called, I need to get the userid and password in order
to perform the operation in the context of that user.

Thanks,

-Dave.
