[jira] Created: (TUSCANY-223) Implement SCA async non-blocking
calls using the Geronimo WorkManager
Implement SCA async non-blocking calls using the Geronimo WorkManager
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: TUSCANY-223
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TUSCANY-223
Project: Tuscany
Type: Bug
Components: Java SCA Core
Reporter: Jean-Sebastien Delfino
Assigned to: Jean-Sebastien Delfino
Implement support for SCA async non-blocking calls using the Geronimo WorkManager. A PolicyBuilder looks at business methods and inserts an AsyncInterceptor into the invocation chains for the methods annotated with a @OneWay annotation. The AsyncInterceptor dispaches the invocation to a Work instance scheduled to execute asynchronously (in a different thread). The scheduling of Work instances is handled by a system service simply reusing the Geronimo WorkManager.

Jean-Sebastien Delfino resolved TUSCANY-223:
--------------------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Initial implementation checked into the sandbox under revision r396810. Also includes a helloworldasync sample which is an async variation of the original helloworld sample.
This implementation requires the fix to TUSCANY-222 in sca/core.
