tomcat lagging while loading com bundles

Tomcat 3.2, IIS Server, Win2000 NT

I'm experiencing a lag when Tomcat tries to load my jsp page.  Basically,
the application just sits there and doesn't compile the page, but throws no
errors ... I've included a piece of the stack trace below ... at least a
piece of what Tomcat began to process (i've replaced the actual com package
names with blah)

Has anyone experienced something similar?
