Re: [CANCELLED] ==> [RESULT] [VOTE] Release JMeter 5.1 RC1

Hello,

Sorry for that, but the 5.1 RC1 has a issue into the build.xml about the
version, I missed to remove the -SNAPSHOT suffix in the property
jmeter.version into build.xml during the release process
So I cannot publish the version 5.1 from RC1.

So I cancel the VOTE and the RESULT of the VOTE, I will open a new
window for a RC2 today.

Yes, the PMC must vote on the exact files that will be released.

However, if people have already voted on RC1, then re-voting on RC2
can be quicker as they can just look at the diffs.

Re: [CANCELLED] ==> [RESULT] [VOTE] Release JMeter 5.1 RC1

Posted by Philippe Mouawad <ph...@gmail.com>.
Hi Milamber,
Do we really need a new vote just for that ?

If you intend to make a new release, then let me commit the change on
source related to Cli and a bug fix.

Thanks
Regards
