Summary: mod_jk statically compiled causes segmentation fault
                    when php module is loaded
           Product: Tomcat 5
           Version: 5.5.20
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Native:JK
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: rh3_sp@yahoo.es

Hi,

When mod_jk is statically linked to the Apache HTTPD 2.2.4, everything works
ok. But when we enable php by placing the appropiate LoadModule directive,
then all requests that should be forwarded to Tomcat causes a Segmentation
fault that can be seen at the error log file. I've tried to use both PHP 5.2.0
and 4.4.4 with the same results. I finally compiled mod_jk as a dynamic module
and this time everything works ok (both PHP and mod_jk), so I think there's
some kind of bug when mod_jk is linked statically to the apache.

Thank you!

What do you suppose we should do with this?
Your bz report is missing some crucial facts like OS, mod_jk version,
core dump, error messages, etc.

Please provide additional data and the how-to-replicate-the-bug steps,
and reopen the case.

Regards.
