[jira] [Created] (BATIK-1089) DPI Not getting applied to jpg and tiff output files correctly via SVGAbstractTranscoder.KEY_PIXEL_UNIT_TO_MILLIMETER Render Hint

William Larsen created BATIK-1089:
-------------------------------------

Summary: DPI Not getting applied to jpg and tiff output files correctly via SVGAbstractTranscoder.KEY_PIXEL_UNIT_TO_MILLIMETER Render Hint
                 Key: BATIK-1089
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BATIK-1089
             Project: Batik
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: SVG Rasterizer
    Affects Versions: 1.7
         Environment: Mac OSX Yosemite
            Reporter: William Larsen

When attempting to output images for a project with a DPI other than the default 72, only PNG will properly update the output file with the given DPI. I'm rendering images for a print customer and while PNG should suffice for nowI imagine all image formats should behave the same. Setting the width and height work and the client can update the file later to have the correct DPI but they would prefer to not have to take that extra step.
