Sounds fine.

No need to wait, I don't think an alpha release where technical things
are still in flux is a problem, as long as it's legally clean enough
to be approved.

What's good IMHO is to try to get things as clean as possible (w.r.t
legal issues and the related files and headers) before asking the IPMC
to vote, to save our collective bandwidth.

With the number of currently incubating projects, we seem to have a
hard time keeping up with the work needed to approve releases, so
doing as much work as possible within the podling before coming here
certainly helps.

Also, having your mentors vote early when the vote thread appears here
helps, as it's a good sign for those who are not following your
project closely.

Ok, I'm glad to know we seem to be on the good direction :-)

Sure, we are trying to prepare a release which will hopefully pass the vote
the first time we submit it to this list :-). Unfortunately I'm still a
newbie concerning Apache incubator requirements, so I've tried to follow the
recommendation found in the documentation, asked help from our mentors, and
followed other podlings to get more information. I think the vote we will do
ourself before submitting the release is also here to check as many legal
things as possible (and we are lucky enough to have very experimented
Mentors :-)). But even with this process we can never be sure it will be
right at first shot, but be sure we will do our best to save your valuable
time.

I'll ask them to do so.

HTH,

Sure it helps! Thanks a lot!
