[jira] [Created] (INFRA-3670) CAPTCHA on Hadoop wiki?

CAPTCHA on Hadoop wiki?
-----------------------

                 Key: INFRA-3670
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-3670
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Wish
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
            Reporter: Todd Lipcon

Any chance we could get a captcha set up for all edits on the Hadoop wiki? It's being hit with more and more spam recently... some of it certainly seems automated.

Strange, too, because it's got the appropriate "nofollow" tag so that it doesn't even help the spammers' pagerank :)

[jira] [Closed] (INFRA-3670) CAPTCHA on Hadoop wiki?

Posted by "Tony Stevenson (JIRA)" <ji...@apache.org>.

Tony Stevenson closed INFRA-3670.
---------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

This has been resolved, textchas are now enabled on all edits.
This however, will not stop manual spammers, but improved ACLs will.
