Hi,

Thanks for your interest.

The output of this project will be a technical report which summarizes the current state of communication stage of Hama BSP, and suggests a new solution for better communication performance. It would be nice if you can write an introduction, body, and conclusion. For example,

1. Introduction: Hama BSP is a ..
2. Body: Therefore, I evaluated ...
3. Finally, conclusion is ..

So first of all, I think you need to survey about the Bulk Synchronous Parallel, Hama project, and the other large-scale message passing systems before starting this issue.

> The goal of this project is performance evaluation of RPC frameworks (e.g., Hadoop RPC, Thrift, Google Protobuf, ..., etc) to figure out which is the best solution for Hama BSP communication. Currently Hama is using Hadoop RPC to communicate and transfer messages between BSP workers.
