installation

Hi

I tried to install ALOIS for local usage on my Ubuntu laptop.
Unfortunatly, "log4r" is not found by the make command(s). Should it be
in the repository or do I have to get and install it by myself?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best
Urs

Ok, I will setup a new System with debootstrap myself and go trough the
steps. It's too complicated like this.

I will inform you.

Hi,

This seems to be endless :( The error now is the missing library
"hpricot".

I use Ubuntu 10.4. I installed the tools as described with apt-get. I
will now try the installation in a virtual box and Ubuntu 10.10. Maybe
that will work better.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best,
Urs

Hi,

libopenssl-ruby1.8 contains the needed file, but rubygems should depend
on it. How did you installed rubygems? What distribution du you use?

Cheers, Flavio
