Reading project.xml values from maven.xml
The subject says it all, but I will clarify.
I need help obtaining values of project.xml file while inside maven.xml
For instance I would like to use the value of
<project><id>Value</id>...</project>
inside maven.xml.
I've search the list, and tried a few things without luck.
Thanks, Andre'

It works now Jason. Thanks: ${pom.artifactId} gets project.xml
<project><id> value.
Now what if I need the <project><currentVersion> value?
${pom.artifactCurrentVersion} does not seem to work...
Ahhh! But ${pom.currentVersion} does.
And also does: ${pom.inceptionYear}.
How about nested ones?
Yes. ${pom.organization.name} also works.
Thanks, Andre'

perhaps its an older beta of Maven? ${pom.id} might be what you are
after, as I see the original specified it as:
<project>
<id>blah</id>
...
</project>
worked for me in b7

I can't seem to get ${pom.artifactId} to work.
I've tried:
<echo>${pom.project.id}</echo>
<echo>${pom.projectId}</echo>
