request and context data

Hi

How can I access context path from Struts Plugin ?
How can I access request object from HttpSessionListener or 
ServletContextListener?

I'd like to set some session or servlets attributes in plugins or 
listeners, eg.:
- current locale in session attributes
- context path in servlet attributes
