I presume that you are talking about HttpMultiClient. To quote the fixme
comment in there:

I recently made some changes in the HttpMethodBase redirect code, but was not
aware that HttpMultiClient was trying to do somthing with the redirect as well.
HttpClient and HttpMultiClient will be "merged" soon.
