[jira] [Commented] (LEGAL-275) Contribute module upstream (Eclipse RDF4J)

Sergio Fernández commented on LEGAL-275:

OK, both [~jakob] and myself have just signed-off Eclipse's CLAs.

> Key: LEGAL-275
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LEGAL-275
> Project: Legal Discuss
> Issue Type: Question

> Marmotta has implemented quite some extra modules for Sesame: https://github.com/apache/marmotta/tree/develop/commons/marmotta-sesame-tools Sesame has moved to Eclipse under RDF4J, but that's not much relevant for this legal question.
> Now there is interest form the community to have the {{rdfpatch}} module officially in the library. See MARMOTTA-649 for further background.
> Therefore we'd like if there is any legal issue from the legal perspective to contribute ASF code to the Eclipse Foundation. According [their contributing guidelines|https://github.com/eclipse/rdf4j/blob/master/.github/CONTRIBUTING.md] we'd need to submit a ICLA; do we need to also fill a CLA at Foundation level?
> Thanks in advance.
