[I] Git history degrades [mynewt-nimble]
bvdberg opened a new issue, #2133:

Not really a *bug* in the code, but an overall issue. So far the Git history was linear (nice!) , but the latest merge was probably done with a Merge button, so now 'railroad-tracks' have appeared. That is rather unfortunate.. Especially since there was no need for a merge, since the patch was already on top of the master branch.

@sjanc you tagged the wrong Vipul I guess. Sure thing, will remember to squash the commits henceforth. I thought maybe nimble does things differently.

yeah.. for -core repo I already configured it to don't allow merge commits and we should do the same for nimble..
