Turbine's Security System

Is this normal behaviour with respect to turbine's security system?

1. I login and change my password (looking into the database says me: 
the password has been changed).

2. I logout and turbine resets the password to the old value.

I can not change any user data once a new user has been created, because 
turbine
always rsets the data at the time the user logs out. But a user can 
change the data of
another user (if I give him/her the permission of course)..

I'm using tdk-2.1
