I think you mean tree2 is missing some of the standard HTML
passthrough attributes.  There is already a JIRA issue on that one
(http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MYFACES-168).  I'm going to try
to address this and some other outstanding tree2 issues over the next
few days.
