[jira] [Commented] (OAK-4960) Review the support for wildcards in bundling pattern

Julian Reschke commented on OAK-4960:

FWIW, I have a use case where I need it (parent node contains a set child nodes which all are tiny).

Maybe we should also have a "typepattern", restricting the matching to certain types of child nodes?

> Bundling pattern currently supports wild card pattern. This makes it powerful but at same time can cause issue if it misconfigured.
> We should review this aspect before 1.6 release to determine if this feature needs to be exposed or not.
