confluence migration
LS, sorry about the crosspost, but I deemed this one important enough.
Atlassian is going to change their licensing to ASF. They have already in
terms of the number of accounts permitted. In the near future they are also
going to disallow DC hosted instances of Jira and Confluence in favour of
cloud versions.
For us, as cloudstack project the jira is only a matter of archive, but we
still use confluence. As our use is relatively simple (no plugins to speak
of) the project is volunteered to be one of the first migrations. For this
a short read only period will be followed by opening up the cloud version.
The current plan is to do this on Tuesday. In the morning the migration
will happen. In the afternoon a test period will be scheduled after which
the migration will be permanent or rolled back. The exact time in UTC of
the migration will follow.
kind regards,

Thanks for the update. I’ll keep this in mind. Let me know if any help is
needed during testing.

Infra has some trouble with the atlassian migrations scripts. We will not
be able to migrate today.

2 cents - I'd look into migrating JIRA articles/data to GitHub Wiki (which
is also a github repo) or something (opensource or else) that ASF infra
might offer for projects.
Regards.
