how to connect trafodion server by odbc dirver
Hi Trafodioner,
Does anyone how to remote connect with trafodion server by trafodion client with odbc driver?
I met some issue about it, There is my steps:
1. Install trafodion client with TRAF_ODBC_Linux_Driver_64.tar.gz
2. Modify /etc/odbc.ini as following, the highlight text is my trafodion server host ip.
[root@trafodion PkgTmp]# cat /etc/odbc.ini
[ODBC]
AppUniCodeType =utf16
traceFlags = ERROR
TraceStart = 0
TraceFile = tracefile.log
MaxTraceFileSize = 1024
[ODBC Data Sources]
Default_DataSource = TRAFODBC
DataSourceName = Driver
[DataSourceName]
Driver = TRAFODBC
[Default_DataSource]
Description = Default Data Source
Catalog = TRAFODION
Schema = SEABASE
DataLang = 0
FetchBufferSize = SYSTEM_DEFAULT
Server = TCP:10.207.168.26:23400
SQL_ATTR_CONNECTION_TIMEOUT = SYSTEM_DEFAULT
SQL_LOGIN_TIMEOUT = SYSTEM_DEFAULT
SQL_QUERY_TIMEOUT = NO_TIMEOUT
3. Modify /etc/odbcinst.ini as:
# Driver from the trafodion-odbc package
# Setup from the unixODBC package
[Trafodion]
Description = ODBC for Trafodion
Driver = /usr/lib64/libtrafodbc_drvr64.so
Driver64 = /usr/lib64/libtrafodbc_drvr64.so
UsageCount =1
FileUsage = 1
4. Start HammerDB to connect trafodion, then met the issue:
Failed to load tdbc:odbc-ODBC library error
