more spamd zombies

I'm continuing to see a small number of zombie processess created that
aren't getting reaped.  In about 24 hours, I'm seeing between 7-15 on my
test servers.  Are other people seeing this behavior?  Not all of them are
traceable back to the user lookups failing.
