### Question
df = pyarrow.read_table(read_dictionary=[string_columns])
table = catalog.load_table(table_name)
tabe.append(df)
I'm getting this log - n times - "Iceberg does not have a dictionary type. will be infered as string"
Will pyiceberg support dictionary type in future ?
why dictionary type support not provided in the pyiceberg currently ?

What Iceberg type are you expecting this to be mapped to? Depending on your data type, this may be related to the Variant type.

Thanks, I'm clear now. pyiceberg already converts dictionary type to it's respected value columns.
Parquet doesn't support dictionary type directly. I think variant isn't relevant here since the data is homogeneous strings, not semi structured JSON. Please correct me if I'm wrong
