The commit here causes memory leak in our prod. It has since been reverted internally. TS-3778 has been opened to revert/fix this commit.

> With the patch from dda6814f07ee59c, when Drupal authenticates a user, it sends back a 302 redirect to that user's "page". This seems to stall the SPDY session entirely (it stops dead in its track at this point). Backing out dda6814f07ee59c makes it work again.
