> The constructor of XmpSerializer throws XmpSerializationException if DocumentBuilderFactory#newDocumentBuilder throws XmpSerializationException. However, that will never happen because we don't call #setAttributes() on the DocumentBuilderFactory before calling #newDocumentBuilder - if you look at the source code for DocumentBuilderFactory, you'll see that this means that ParserConfigurationException is never thrown when attributes = null.
