[Bug 60390] New: Raw message does not strip trailing EOL at EOF

https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=60390

            Bug ID: 60390
Summary: Raw message does not strip trailing EOL at EOF
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.4.20
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Mac OS X 10.1
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: mod_mbox
          Assignee: bugs@httpd.apache.org
          Reporter: sebb@apache.org
  Target Milestone: ---

FTR

The last entry in an mbox file is followed by an extra EOL.

However this is not stripped off when the message is returned to the user.

The raw data that is returned therefore depends on whether the message
currently happens to be the last in the file or not.

Thank you for your report. As part of an effort to clean up our issue tracker,
we are closing tickets that have seen no activity for more than 5 years. If
this issue is still relevant to a current version of Apache httpd (2.4.x or
trunk), please reopen this ticket or open a new one with updated information.
We appreciate your contribution to the project.
