[jira] [Created] (INFRA-11188) Incorrect ownership of /var/www/projects.apache.org/site

Sebb created INFRA-11188:
----------------------------

             Summary: Incorrect ownership of /var/www/projects.apache.org/site
                 Key: INFRA-11188
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-11188
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Puppet
         Environment: projects-vm.apache.org
            Reporter: Sebb

Something keeps resetting the ownership of the following directories:

/var/www/projects.apache.org/site
/var/www/reporter.apache.org/site

Instead of being owned by www-data, they are owned by root.
This causes problems for SVN updates.

It looks like the directories are being created by Puppet as part of creating the websites, as the docroot entries.

Presumably the ownership details can also be set up somewhere, but I cannot find where this is done.
