I have implemented a dns caching server (Powerdns) on spamc1. All the spamd nodes are now using it primarily for dns and the block list queries are succeeding.

All nodes using this DNs system have 2 nameservers configured incase the caching dns server breaks.

Monitoring memory usage on spamc1 to see how the caching server impacts it (and will tuen if need be).
