[jira] [Created] (FLINK-17524) Remove "An illegal reflective access operation has occurred" on JDK11

Robert Metzger created FLINK-17524:
--------------------------------------

             Summary: Remove "An illegal reflective access operation has occurred" on JDK11
                 Key: FLINK-17524
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-17524
             Project: Flink
          Issue Type: Task
    Affects Versions: 1.11.0
            Reporter: Robert Metzger

When running Flink on JDK11, there are various warnings like this one:

{code}
WARNING: An illegal reflective access operation has occurred
WARNING: Illegal reflective access by org.apache.flink.api.java.ClosureCleaner (file:/private/tmp/flink/flink-dist/target/flink-1.11-SNAPSHOT-bin/flink-1.11-SNAPSHOT/lib/flink-dist_2.11-1.11-SNAPSHOT.jar) to field java.lang.String.value
WARNING: Please consider reporting this to the maintainers of org.apache.flink.api.java.ClosureCleaner
WARNING: Use --illegal-access=warn to enable warnings of further illegal reflective access operations
WARNING: All illegal access operations will be denied in a future release
{code}

This is an umbrella issue to collect all cases of such warnings. We will create separate tickets for each affected class / module / component.
