[jira] [Created] (HADOOP-8631) The description of
net.topology.table.file.name in core-default.xml is misleading
Han Xiao created HADOOP-8631:
--------------------------------
Summary: The description of net.topology.table.file.name in core-default.xml is misleading
Key: HADOOP-8631
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-8631
Project: Hadoop Common
Issue Type: Bug
Components: conf
Affects Versions: 2.0.0-alpha, 2.1.0-alpha, 2.0.1-alpha, 2.2.0-alpha
Reporter: Han Xiao
Priority: Minor
Fix For: 2.2.0-alpha
The net.topology.table.file.name is used when net.topology.node.switch.mapping.impl property is set to org.apache.hadoop.net.TableMapping.
However, in the description in core-default.xml, net.topology.script.file.name property is asked to set to org.apache.hadoop.net.TableMapping.
This could mislead user into wrong configuration.
