is two-way RPC supported?
Hi!
Please tell me if Avro is able to do a two-way RPC over a single TCP
connection? By two-way RPC I mean that both client and server can send
requests to each other at any moment. It was not clear from the
documentation and I didn't also find any info on the Internet. I'll use
the C++ implementation if it matters.

Yes, if each side must be able to initiate calls, both sides must run a
server, listening for connections.

Therefore, in this case, we need to create two TCP connections for a
two-way RPC, is that correct?

Thanks for the fast answer!
Actually there are two that use protocol buffers as a base:
http://code.google.com/p/server1/
http://code.google.com/p/protobuf-remote/
But it doesn't look like a stable thing. And also I like Avro schemas.

No, there's no implementation of this at present that I know of.
