[jira] [Created] (AIRAVATA-2010) Access to file system resources

Jarett DeAngelis created AIRAVATA-2010:
------------------------------------------

Summary: Access to file system resources
                 Key: AIRAVATA-2010
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRAVATA-2010
             Project: Airavata
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: PGA PHP Web Gateway
    Affects Versions: 0.16
            Reporter: Jarett DeAngelis

I'm not sure whether to list this as a bug or a feature request. We need for the PGA front-end gateway to be able to do things as PAM users with kerberos credentials, I think -- or have some other way of letting paths to resources given to applications like blastn use the credentials of kerberos users to access those paths. For example, blastn asks for an uploaded file, and a path to a database file on the Airavata host -- this may be as large as 750GB or larger. How can we get the gateway access to these resources?
