list moderators

Hi folks,

Diana, Andrew and myself are volunteering to relieve Nicola from the
burden of moderating cocoon-docs.

Given this abundance of volunteers, I was wondering whether we shouldn't
relieve the list moderators of cocoon-dev, also (Giacomo has been doing
this in the past IIRC).

If we can add yet another US guy/gal, we have a really nice coverage of
timezones, with backups.

Anyone? Existing cocoon-dev moderators: objections?

Same is true for cocoon-users too, of course. Duh.

It is sad it is perceived as such, though. Having moderated forrest-dev
for some time, I know hitting delete on 95% of the occasion, and letting
pass 5% requires some amount of energy.

Given the fact that Giacomo has been doing it for many years (!)
already, I figured it would only be nice of us to suggest we are willing
to take our share of the administrative drudgery and releive him, since
we were on the subject of discussing change of mail moderators for one
Cocoon list anyhow.

... Oh well, Nicola's mail has crossed my path - so now the 'scheme'
behind everything has become apparent. :-D

Cheers,

Hey, dude, "next Generation" is for kids like you, I've seen all the "first
Generation" where you still used your comforter ;-)

For this distinct lack of "nerd-ism" your commit privileges shall be removed
at once and your membership in the foundation eradicated! :-) :-) :-)

Please explain what a 'borg' is to me. As long as I don't know what it is I take
it personally ;-)

But I thought the 'group think' model was key to a 'community' :) Oh, you
mean it is the wrong collective...

Yeaaa baby. We (U.S.) Americans love that stuff :)

I doubt it, I am to self absorbed :)

Nicola, it's either Star Trek or Star Wars... You can't put references to
two masterpieces in the same email (would be like asking on who's better,
"Dart Vader" or "James T. Kirk")...

there were only Imperial personnel aboard number 1, but what about all of
the innocent construction workers on number 2? - Kevin Smith - Clerks)

Why is a change needed? What has Giacomo been doing wrong?

There seems to be an interesting power grab going on...

Just my observations... no feeling one way or another...
