thrift QT server?

Anyone have a simple example on how to set this up?

So, I have this setup properly (I think) but it doesn't actually work.  
I can connect Ok, but doing anything times out with a read error.  I'll 
submit a bug report with code to reproduce.  This is with Qt 4.8.4 and 
Qt 4.8.5.
