[jira] [Comment Edited] (INFRA-4806) Need to create /www/manifoldcf.apache.org

Ok, I get that the CMS is svn-backed and that changes just go into SVN somewhere. What I don't get is how what Ant did applies to us. All I think we need, actually, is the ability to copy a locally-Forrest-built image of the site from a certain local directory into the right place in SVN for the staging image, and a script (publish.pl probably) to make the staging image go live.

In retrospect, we probably CAN'T have the site built on the CMS machine, because the javadoc requires proprietary libraries to be present, for some connectors.

Right at the moment we already create a publishable image in svn, as I discussed, but we do it (a) in our own place in the tree, and (b) through svn remove then svn import. Moving this image into the CMS svn area would seem to not be too hard. Is there any other site that is doing something similar to this?
