[jira] [Commented] (RAMPART-65) Accessing message context from within the CallbackHandler

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RAMPART-65?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13051584#comment-13051584 ]

Vilnis Termanis commented on RAMPART-65:
----------------------------------------

I couldn't see any other way be able to get the client's IP address other than via MessageContext so I created a quick patch. This might not the right way to address the issue but it does work.

VT

> The CallbackHandler has a "handle" method to be executed in order to authentificate a user, but if it needs the message context (for example to know which operation is being invoked), it cannot access it.
