Now this PR can be reviewed. These tests were also run on a real cloudberry cluster with 5 nodes, and not just on gpdemo.
But most changes have gone beyond my knowledge (they're done by Claude code and DeepSeek). If someone else can take over, that would be best. cc @leborchuk @Alena0704

Closing this in favour of the split agreed above; the branch and its history stay here for reference.
- The test-only part is now #2170: the four test commits, unchanged and still under your name, plus the gpAdminLogs fix for the `ic-behave-gpstop` core check.
- The 19 fixes will follow as separate PRs, each cherry-picked from this branch with you as author and linked back here. The gprecoverseg ones keep their order: a3bfe47d5c3 first, then ad3c9d59b19, and 993b99d5758 before 83778564c0f.
A correction to my review: I wrote "five server-side C changes" but listed four commits; 24faa8f016c touches two files (`xlogrecovery.c` and `postmaster.c`).

Sounds good. I am working with Claude to test further in a real multi-node cluster to verify changes. If any updates, will let you know.
