ssl/tls

hi

i'm sure i'm not the first one to ask this, but i googling around wasn't
fruitful.
can i use thrift over ssl (not https) ? i need to authenticate the
*client*(authenticating the server is of lesser importance). what's
the recommended
way of doing it?


any pointers would be helpful,
