[jira] [Created] (YARN-5135) ContainerRequest labels ignored -broken constructor

Steve Loughran created YARN-5135:
------------------------------------

Summary: ContainerRequest labels ignored -broken constructor
                 Key: YARN-5135
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-5135
             Project: Hadoop YARN
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: client
    Affects Versions: 2.9.0
            Reporter: Steve Loughran
            Assignee: Arun Suresh
            Priority: Blocker

The backwards-compatible constructor for {{ContainerRequest}} ignores the nodeLabelExpression parameter. As a result, you can't requests nodes with a label.

Tagged as a blocker on the basis that it's a fundamental regression. Sorry.

This surfaces in the slider test {{TestRoleHistoryOutstandingRequestTracker}}; YARN itself needs a unit test here to verify the regression is fixed, and that it doesn't come back.
