Modifying .htaccess for redirection to Tiles

Hi all,
I need to modify the .htaccess file in Struts website, but that file
belongs to "rgielen" and it is not group-writable.
Can anyone with the correct privileges modify that file, or make it
group-writable?

The line to add is:

RedirectMatch permanent /struts-sandbox/tiles.* http://tiles.apache.org/

Thanks
Antonio
