[I] Wrong mail list used for db-jdo releases (tooling-trusted-releases)

clr-apache opened a new issue, #1305:
URL: https://github.com/apache/tooling-trusted-releases/issues/1305

   The VOTE for the release was sent to the wrong mail list dev@db.apache.org

   The dev mail list on the jdo page https://db.apache.org/jdo/mail-lists.html identifies the dev list as [jdo-dev@db.apache.org](mailto:jdo-dev@db.apache.org)

   This is the correct mail list to use for VOTE emails.

   @alitheg Let's make sure that .asf.yaml project enables this exceptional configuration.

   It should do - I don't think we validate that the email specified matches the default options - except possibly in alpha but I think that's just announce recipients (we don't allow the real announce@ in alpha).

   I'll check and make sure. When https://github.com/apache/infrastructure-asfyaml/pull/102 is merged, and assuming I didn't make any other silly mistakes, this will be specifiable in .asf.yaml

   Hi @clr-apache - this is now supported via the `.asf.yaml` "project" feature. If you specify:

   ```yaml
   project:
     metadata:
       ...
   policy:
     ...
     vote_recipients:
       to: jdo-dev@db.apache.org
   ```

   (where `...` is the other relevant settings for the project), it will set that within ATR and also enable it for CC/BCC options. If you want to grab a seed version of `.asf.yaml` to modify, you can navigate to https://release-test.apache.org/project/yaml/db-jdo where you can copy the YAML for your current setup.

   @clr-apache please follow the instructions provided and add to your `.asf.yaml`

   This can be covered via .asf.yaml project definition which we are testing now.
