[jira] [Created] (NETBEANS-4624) Go back and go forward buttons seem just random

Owen Savill created NETBEANS-4624:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Go back and go forward buttons seem just random
                 Key: NETBEANS-4624
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NETBEANS-4624
             Project: NetBeans
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: cnd - Editor
    Affects Versions: 12.0
Environment: Product Version: Apache NetBeans IDE 12.0
Java: 11.0.1; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 11.0.1+13-LTS
Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 11.0.1+13-LTS
System: Linux version 5.7.8-050708-generic running on amd64; UTF-8; en_GB (nb)

OS: Ubuntu 20.04
            Reporter: Owen Savill

I have meant to report this since v8.2! The go back and go forward buttons just don't seem to relate to anything in the editing nor viewing history.

They work when debugging but it quickly exhausts its buffer.

If they are working as expected please could you tell me what the expected behaviour is?
