For the simple "fromwsdl" example[1] used by Sun's JAXWS-RI, they are using a Servlet 2.4 compatible web.xml deployment descriptor[2].

I'm noticing we just have a 2.3-compliant web.xml file[3]--perhaps it is time to upgrade.
